A Swedish Midsummer Night's Dream

Swedish midsummer. Romanticised, ritualised – and totally out of control.
This raw and hilarious performance reveals what really goes on behind the flower crowns and family photos. Created and performed by Swedes themselves, A Swedish Midsummer Night’s Dream is a bold, musical deep-dive into the strange rituals, repressed desires, and collective madness that mark the most sacred day of the Swedish calendar.

Expect folk songs, dirty jokes, heartbreak, and too much schnapps – all in English, and with no filter. A unique indoor–outdoor experience, starting in a city park and ending on one of Scandinavia’s most beautiful independent stages.

“If you want to understand Swedes – watch what they do on midsummer’s eve.”
